What Are The Eligibility Criteria To Avail Financing On Furniture?

Order value should be minimum INR 10,000. You should meet atleast one of the following criteria:

Have a credit card.

You should be any existing customer of Bajaj Finance Limited, HDFC, Future Capital ,Tata capital finance and Capital Float.

You should be a salaried professional.

You should have taken a loan in the past.

You should have a property on your name.

How Can I Avail Financing On Furniture?

You just need to select “Pay in EMI” option on our checkout page and you are done. Yes, it is that easy. Our customer service team will give you a call to collect additional details and will apply for financing on your behalf, and help you with the process.

Do I Need To Pay Anything Additional To Avail Financing?

We are offering this facility at a nominal cost. You would have to only pay processing charges of Rs749.

What Documents Will I Have To Submit?

Our team will collect the following documents from you:

Photo ID Proof (Pan Card, Aadhar Card, Voter ID card, Driving License, Passport etc.)

Address Proof (Passport, Telephone Bill, Gas bill, Electricity bill, Bank account statement with name and address etc.)

Cancelled cheque (Only from a nationalized bank) – EMIs will be deducted from this bank account.

Filled up and signed ECS Mandate form and loan application form (will be provided by our team) Our customer service team will inform you whether any other documents would be required based on applicable eligibility criterion.

How Do I Submit The Documents?

Our team will come at a time convenient to you to collect the documents and down-payment. They will carry the ECS mandate form and loan application form which you will have to fill up and sign. Please note that the applicant will have to be personally present to sign the form.

Can My Application Get Rejected? What Do I Do In That Case?

Approval/rejection of financing is solely at discretion of the Finance company. In the event that your loan application is not accepted, you would need to place a fresh order with a different payment type – Cash pay or Prepaid. We will cancel the current order for which the loan request is placed.

How Would My EMI Payment Schedule Look Like?

Your application will be processed EMI schemes line 6/0,9/0,10/0,10/2,11/1,12/0,12/2,12/4,15/0,18/0,18/1,18/2,18/4,18/0,22/1,24/0

for a 10 by 2 scheme where you will be required to make a down- payment for 2 installment and remaining amount will be deducted in 8 EMIs.

For example, if you make a purchase of INR 20,000 and use Finance you will be required to make a down-payment of INR 4,000 +749 processing fee totaling to Rs4749 while submitting the documents. Remaining amount will be deducted from your account in 8 EMIs of INR 2,000 each.

On What Date Would The EMIs Be Deducted From My Account? Can I Check The Schedule?

EMIs will be deducted on 5th of every month. Once your loan is processed, Finance company will provide you with login details. With these credentials, you can login and check the EMI schedule.

How Do I Know The Status Of My Application?

Once the application is processed, we will inform you about the approval/rejection of your application. In case of approval, you will also receive an SMS from Finance company.

Is There Any Upper Limit On The Loan Amount?

You can avail gross loan for up to INR 2,50,000.

Loan up to INR 1,25,000 will be instantly approved based on details provided.

For higher amounts, loan will be approved after a verification call by Finance company.

Can I Prepay The Loan? Is There Any Prepayment Penalty?

You can either do a part-prepayment or prepay entire loan.

What if I have to cancel the loan against product return?

In case of cancellation against product return, Bantia will repay the down-payment amount to the customer minus the processing fees and cancellation charges as applicable. Finance Company will repay back the EMIs you have deposited so far.

Anything Else I Need To Keep In Mind?

Please make sure that the order is in name of the same person who will avail financing. The name in invoice should exactly match your name on PAN card.

In case you are using your credit card to apply for the loan, please ensure that you use the same credit card to make the down-payment.

Will I Be Asked To Share Card Information, Account Information Or Passwords Over Phone Or Email?

The Bantia team will never request you to share any of your payment details over email or over phone. The only time when you will be asked for your 16 digit card number is if you apply for a loan with Finance Compnay.

  • 1. How do I order a set?

    Here is how you can place an order: (a) Click on 'Order Your Set' on the top right of the page. (b) Choose one of the pre-defined sets (E.g. 3-2 or 3-2-1 etc.). You could also choose additional sofas (1 or 2 or 3 seater) to add to your set. (c) Click 'BUY NOW' and pay 25% of the total cost using our payment gateway. (d) Choose “EMI” to apply for a loan. You will be required to make a down payment for availing this option. (e)Click on Cash pay to pay for your order in cash, right from the comfort of your home.

  • 2. Can I choose any combination of pieces for my sofa set?

    Yes, you can choose any combination you desire. However, the combinations we have created are easy on the pocket compared to buying individual pieces and creating your own set.

  • 3. What are the payment methods available for sofas?

    Since sofas are manufactured against your order, we require you to pay an advance of 25% of the total amount. We will collect the balance before we deliver the product. However, if you want to pay in full (to avail of credit card EMI, for instance), please call us at 040-27841562/ 3/ 5 (All days of the week, 10AM-9PM) and we can help you out. You can also use the EMI option by applying for a loan with the Finance company. You will be required to make a down payment for availing this option.

  • 4. Is the sofa customizable?

    The design of the sofa is customisable. However,incase the sofa is customized then the delivery time may get longer.

  • 5. Can I provide my own fabric?

    Sure why not! However you would have to courier the fabric to our corporate office . However, every sofa will be available in a range of exciting colour options.

  • 6. What do I need to check for when the sofa is delivered?

    (a) You should check to ensure that the fabric across the sofa is well stitched and there is no tear / gap in the stitching across the entire front, back and sides of the sofa (b) You should ensure that there are no stains on the fabric across the entire front, back and sides of the sofa (c) You should ensure that the sofa is steady on your floor.

  • 7. Will my sofa fit in through the stairs and doorway?

    All our sofas are built to fit through regular stairwells and service lifts. Also, we give detailed dimensions on our website. We request you to please check and ensure before delivery that the sofa can be installed in your home through this mode. We are not in a position currently to get it crane-lifted through the balcony or any other such method.

  • 8. Does Bantia Furnitures provide services such as cleaning sofa / changing cushions at a later point in time?

    At this point, we are unable to assist with sofa care services such as cleaning the sofa / changing cushions. However, we can recommend using the services of a professional sofa cleaning service to ensure a longer life for your sofas.

  • 11. How do I know that the right material has been used in the sofa?

    We only use the most durable, high quality materials in building your sofa be it the frame, foam, fabric or cushion. You may visit our manufacturing section for more details.

  • 12. Can I check the sofa when it is being manufactured?

    We won't be able to show you the manufacturing process of your sofa. The manufacturing section on the site does have information on our sofa manufacturing process.   • 13. How long will it take to deliver the sofa?

    We take up to 2 weeks to manufacture and deliver the sofa in Hyderabad. For customers from rest of the serviced cities, we take up to3- 4 weeks to manufacture and deliver the sofa.

  • 14. Can I return the sofa if I do not like it after I get it?

    No. Since sofas are made to order, we won't be able to accept returns or exchanges on sofas. In the case of any damages found at the time of delivery, we will replace the defective piece with a new one.

  • 15. Will the sofa colour be exactly the same as it appears on the swatches?

    While we do a Quality Check at our end for colour matching, a 5-10% variation in colour may appear in a batch depending upon conditions of production. As an industry standard, we allow for a maximum of a 10% variation. If this threshold is crossed, we reject the fabric batch. Within these limitations, we try our best to make sure that the perfect colour reaches you!
